THE FOLLOWING IS ALSO THE BASIS ON WHICH ALL ORDERS ARE ACCEPTED BY J GARD AND SONS LTD, HEREINAFTER REFERRED TO AS THE “COMPANY”

Any advice of dates for collection or delivery, given by the company, are conditional on being able to secure the necessary labour and materials etc, and without responsibility for any delay or delays arising through causes which are beyond our control.

Defective or damaged goods will be replaced, and shortages rectified, provided a claim is received by phone or email within 24hrs of receipt of goods.

We strongly recommend that you do not book fitters or tradespersons until your order has been delivered and checked by you. We cannot accept responsibility for any third-party costs or charges incurred as a result of delayed delivery or items not being inspected upon arrival.

The company cannot accept any liability for movement (ie, shrinkage or warping) of natural materials, nor any claim for consequential loss or damage of any kind.

All goods supplied by the company are to be at the buyers’ risk after delivery or collection, but remain the property of the company until paid for in full, and on default in payment for the same, the company reserves the right to resume possession of such goods, without notice.

Any deposits paid to the company will be valid for three months.


DELIVERY SERVICE


Deliveries will be completed during the MORNING, AFTERNOON or EVENING.

The company is unable to specify times of delivery. If unable to deliver on an agreed day, the purchaser will be advised as soon as the company is aware, provided a daytime and/or an evening phone number has been given and is attended.

The company cannot accept any responsibility of costs incurred by purchasers, relating to non or delayed delivery of goods.

We only offer a kerbside delivery and drivers are only permitted to drop the materials onto the property nearest to the roadside or as near to the property as is safe and the public highway permits.

Offloading over walls, fencing, etc will only be made if the driver decides that it is possible to do so. For safety reasons this decision will be final.

Please advise of any obstructions which could cause a problem for the delivery – Such as overhead power cables or road access problems.


RETURNS POLICY


Stocked products can be returned within 14 days provided the return is made in accordance with our terms below:

Please contact us by phone, email or in store with your invoice, delivery note or online order number.

We will require a valid receipt of purchase.

Any goods to be returned must be in pristine condition, unopened and in its original packaging if applicable.

No refunds or exchanges will be permitted for any materials that have been machined or prepared to customers’ requirements, including custom made gates, panels or trellis, any timber or sheet materials machined or cut to size and any goods purchased at “pack rate” unless the complete pack is returned.

All returns will be subject to a restocking and administration charge of 10%.

If the products need to be collected, provided the materials are accessible the relevant delivery/collection charge for the delivery area will be applicable.

Once the returned goods have been received and checked over, an exchange or refund will be processed within 7-10 working days against the original payment details.

Our returns policy does not affect and is in addition to your statutory rights.
