Grano dust (also called granite dust) is a fine aggregate produced by crushing granite rock. It typically consists of particles ranging from dust-sized material up to about 4–6 mm, giving it a gritty texture that compacts very well.

Grano dust compacts firmly but does not normally "set" like concrete on its own. If a hard, cement-like finish is required, it must be mixed with cement or another binding agent.
