Each post is kiln dried to reduce moisture content and then machine incised at critical ground contact level to ensure optimum preservative penetration using Tanalith green wood preservative. The preservative is applied under pressure using a controlled industrial treatment vessel. This ensures both accuracy and consistency of treatment.

 Incised Permaposts are specifically designed for agricultural fencing, animal enclosures, boundary markings, particularly those needing contact or frequent exposure to wet conditions. They are incised, meaning they have shallow cuts made into the wood, allowing for better penetration of the wood preservative during the treatment process, ensuring a longer service life.
